Correspondence, reports, monographs, and typescripts of speeches and radio broadcasts concerning medical education, medical ethics, malpractice suits, an A.M.A. anti-trust suit, and hospital administration. Some papers cover the period, 1936-37, when Heyd was president and past president of the American Medical Association, and reflect his opposition to socialized medicine. Includes correspondence, 1915-44, with John F. Erdmann, New York City surgeon; and letters from Thomas B. Costain; Thomas E. Dewey; Fiorello La Guardia; Herbert Lehman; and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
